Maybe I’m not the best person in the world to be giving out advice about SEO. The fact that I didn’t even know that the letters SEO meant Search Engine Optimisation until a couple of days ago is probably the main reason why I’m not exactly qualified to offer advice. But at least I won’t be overwhelming people with my extensive SEO knowlegde because of the fact that I am a complete beginner too. I’m still finding it a little bit confusing myself but I’m hoping that I’ll be able to pass on what I’ve learned so far to others in a similar situation to me.
So Exactly What Is SEO All About Anyway?
I am a blog writer and have been told on many occasions that if I used SEO I would get a lot more people reading my entries. I was way off with my initial understanding of SEO because I actually thought that it was a really good website which would publish details about my blog so that others would see it. But in actual fact SEO refers to techniques used to make a blog perform better in search engines like Google so that visitors will be able to find it.
There are quite a lot of ways of using SEO such as making sure that you use your keywords properly and that the titles and subtitles that you use are ones which the search engines will like. There is so much to learn about SEO including how to get the most from the hyperlinks which send traffic to your site. It can be really overwhelming to try to learn all about SEO especially if you are totally new to this topic so I figured the best thing to do would be to try to learn one thing at a time. The more SEO tools you use the better the website will perform in the search engines but the journey of a million miles begins with the first step.
